Team Performance - The Essential Roles
People working together can accomplish far more than they can individually. No matter how talented you are you won’t get the synergy and power that is released when people with a common purpose work together. With a great team you have better ideas, plans and implementation.
By sharing some of your personality traits with the people you work with, you will have a better understanding of preferred team roles, and therefore the effectiveness of your team may be improved. An effective team will require a diversity of skills and roles, since the work that your organisation does covers a range of tasks and problems.
